Payment Policy


Once you've decided what you want to buy, you can choose from the following payment options--and rest assured that your details are safe with us. We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, cheques or postal orders (denominated in Pounds Sterling) and Gift certificates as payment.

Note: we do not accept Eurocheques, cash in any currency or book tokens.


We will not debit money from your credit/debit card until just before your item/items are dispatched. On the date of dispatch you will receive an e-mail message confirming the date, contents and method of your delivery.

If you have ordered several items with different availabilities we will debit your credit/debit card as each of those items become available and are dispatched. Please note that you will be charged individual dispatch costs for each item unless you request them to be held and sent together.

You are able to change your credit/debit card details yourself by going to the Your Account page and inserting your new details. Please note that your new credit card details will not affect any open orders that you may have. It will take effect from any new orders that you place.


If you receive notification that your credit or debit card has been declined, you must contact the bank that issued the card to find out why. You should also check if the card attached to your account has expired.

Note: only your bank can tell you why your card has been declined.

You will receive an e-mail that states the number of days the order will stay open. will continue to attempt to charge the card during that period. If you want to try again with a different card, go back to your order and enter your card details again.


If you'd like to pay by cheque or postal order, select the "Pay by Cheque" option on the order form and send us a personal cheque or postal order in pounds sterling for the total amount of your order (including delivery charge).
Currently we're only able to accept postal orders denominated in pounds sterling or cheques denominated in pounds sterling and drawn from a UK bank.
Paying by cheque slows down your order as we don't order your items until we receive your cheque, and we don't send the items to you until your funds clear.
If you're in the UK, paying by personal cheque typically delays your order by about seven to 10 days.

Remember to write your e-mail address AND your order number clearly on the back of your cheque to help us to process your order more efficiently.
Your order will be processed once we've received and cleared your cheque, and will remain open for a limited time.

Note: if we do not receive payment within 45 days your order will be cancelled.
