Author of more than 50 books and teacher of hadith for the last 35 years in Darul-Uloom Karachi, he is a consultant to several international Islamic financial institutions in Bahrain, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Sri Lanka and also recently to Amanah Finance of HSBC and the Kuwaiti-Ahli bank in the UK. Besides his many other achievements and qualifications, he has recently retired from the post of Judge at the Shariah Appellate Bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
