Product's Questions & Answers
Assalamualikum,
this is kaleem,
I had a discussion with a pastor through mail ,when I called him toward the unity of God, and criticized the concept of trinity he(the pastor) supported the concept of trinity as follows:
"It is the doctrine that there is only one God, not three, and that the one God exists in three persons: Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. An analogy would be time. Time is past, present, and future. But, there are not three times, only one."
and he gave some referenced from Bible as John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9 ,Col. 1:27 etc which support the divinity of christ.
I red your book "What is trinity" a long ago, in which the conect was discussed in detail, but now I don't have the book with me.
please give your answer
I'm waiting for your answer Mohammed Kaleem - 30 Jul 2007 According to Islamic teachings and basic beliefs “Allah (SWT) is the only Lord and has no father or son”. Please refer to Surah Ikhlas, Part 30, and Chapter 112. Allah has clearly said that by no means, by neither definition, by neither example anyone can be equal or can be partner of Allah (SWT).
For detailed explanation, please contact some Islamic Scholar and they would be able to guide you appropriately according to the situation.
