Those who did not have a chance to be in the company of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW), had satisfied their longing and love for the Prophet by listening to the verbal depictions of the ones who saw him which enabled them to visualise him as if they had seen his picture.
Eventually, these hadiths had taken their place as the most important works in Islamic culture in the form of books and pamphlets or hilyes and calligraphically scribed plates in prose or verse.
